2009 Provider Recognition and Awards Ceremony

On October 29, 2009, SFHP honored providers for their dedication to serving the residents of San Francisco and excellence in health care at the 2009 Provider Recognition Dinner and Awards Ceremony. The attendees, including providers from each medical group, SFHP Governing Board Members, and SFHP Staff, gathered at 1 Fort Mason for this successful event (despite the Bay Bridge Closure and H1N1 vaccination clinics). Children’s Health Center at SFGH received the SFHP Award for Excellence for their Fluoride Varnish Program implementation. North East Medical Services received the first ever Healthy San Francisco Award for Excellence for their work on patient access. These two clinics received this honor because of exceptional performance in all quality indicators, consistent patient outreach efforts, and delivery of comprehensive care to all members.
