About Us

Governing Board

Our Governing Board is made up of physicians, our members, and representatives from hospitals and clinics, most of whom are appointed by the SF Board of Supervisors. The Governing Board decides on major policies and oversees the administration of San Francisco Health Plan.

Governing Board Meetings are open to the public. We encourage our members and advocates from the community to attend. Governing Board meetings are generally held from 12-2 pm the first Wednesday of January, March, May, September and November, with a special meeting in late June to approve the budget.  Meetings are held at our administrative offices at 201 Third St., 7th Floor.
