Community: GGHI Network: Purpose of the Network
Purpose of the Network
The goals of the Network are to:
1. COMMUNICATE: The Network provides frequent updates on the various programs through alerts and newsletters. There are also frequent luncheons providing participants the opportunity to network with one another and learn about innovative best practices in enrolling families in various programs.
2. COORDINATE: There are many health programs administered by different agencies, each with their own eligibility guidelines, application, and point of entry. This reality has often led to confusion for families, CAAs, and Eligibility Workers. The Network is a forum for different agencies, health programs, and participants to coordinate to better meet the needs of San Francisco's uninsured population.
