Pharmacy Services
When you need medication, your doctor will prescribe it. To get the medication:
- Take the doctor's prescription to a participating pharmacy.
- Show your San Francisco Health Plan Member ID Card.
Refer to the Medi-Cal Summary of Benefits for more information on your prescription drug benefits.
If you want to see if your prescription medicine is covered, refer to the San Francisco Health Plan Drug Formulary. For more information on our formulary, or to see if a specific drug is covered under your Medi-Cal membership, email Member Services, or give us a call at (800)288-5555, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
What is a drug formulary?
A drug formulary is a complete list drugs available to you as a San Francisco Health Plan Medi-Cal member.
