Helping Households Connect During the Pandemic
Medi-Cal members can get up to $50 a month to help cover their internet costs during COVID-19. All Medi-Cal members qualify, and it will not change their health coverage. Funding is limited so apply today: https://www.getemergencybroadband.org/
All Medi-Cal members are eligible for the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program* which provides up to $50 a month to help cover the cost of internet access. The monthly discounted internet service will be available until EBB funds are used up, or up to six months after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

How Do I Apply?
There are three different ways to apply for the Emergency Broadband Benefit.
- Contact Your Internet Provider (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Xfinity, etc.)
Ask your internet provider if they participate in the EBB or use our online tool to find a participating company near you
- or Apply Online
Fill out and submit an online application
- or Apply by Mail

Also, there is a stipend available toward qualifying, connected devices such as laptops, tablets or computers up to $100 purchased through your internet provider. This discount can be used towards your internet services and/or the cost of the device you are purchasing. Check this list of internet providers participating in California for more information.
