Chiropractic: What It Is & How to Choose a Provider
Chiropractors offer a treatment called an “adjustment.” An adjustment is when a chiropractor manipulates (moves) your joints to align your spine and nerves.
- Joint pain
- Neck pain
- Low back pain
Treatment can help increase your range of motion and reduce pain and swelling.
There are many things to consider when choosing a chiropractor.
- Will do everything they can to improve your health in an efficient manner
- Gives you advice about exercise, stretching, and posture to avoid future problems
- Only takes X-rays when necessary, and explains why
- Has a strong working relationship with other health care professionals of all specialties
