Taking care of your mental health is important, especially if you are feeling stressed or anxious.

Mental health is the state of your mind, feelings, and thinking. This can impact many areas of your life, such as your body, your relationships, and your focus at work or school.

Mental health care is for everyone. Get the care that you need:
  • Talk with a specialist through Carelon Behavioral Health. Carelon offers mild-to-moderate mental health care for all SFHP Medi-Cal members. You can search for a specialist at carelonbehavioralhealth.com or call toll-free at 1(855) 371-8117. You do not need a referral.
  • Call San Francisco Behavioral Health Services (SFBHS) at 1(888) 246-3333 or visit sfdph.org to get care for specialty mental health conditions, alcohol, or drug use.
  • Call 988 for the 24/7 Suicide Crisis Lifeline that can connect you with free, private mental health support. Or visit 988lifeline.org. You do not have to be suicidal to call.
