How to Use Your Over-the-Counter (OTC) Benefit
With SFHP Care Plus, you automatically get $150 loaded onto your SFHP Care Plus OTC Card every quarter (3 months) that you are a member. For example, if you are eligible any time between January through March, you will get $150 for that three-month period. Starting on April 1st, your card will be funded with a new $150 allowance for April through June.

Once you activate your card, you’re ready to shop! Each quarter, your purchases will be covered until you’ve used the full $150 in OTC funds. Your OTC funds don’t roll over, so make sure to use them before they expire.

See if the item you want is covered using the app or item scanner. To check out, just swipe your SFHP Care Plus OTC Card. If your items cost more than your available card balance, you can use another form of payment to cover the rest. - Online: Visit
