SFHP assures the quality of its pharmacy services by offering a generous formulary, maintaining good relationships with pharmacy providers, and overseeing the pharmacy credentialing process. Our pharmacy services and formulary are constantly reviewed and updated by our Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, a sub-committee of our Quality Improvement Committee. We monitor pharmacy usage monthly through cost and utilization reports. SFHP manages pharmacy costs through its generic-preferred formularies and prior authorization process.
