How to Keep Your Coverage

In-Home Support Services (IHSS) employee requirements to keep Healthy Workers HMO coverage are specific to your IHSS employer. Contact your IHSS employer to learn more about the requirements to keep your Healthy Workers HMO coverage.

Healthy Workers HMO whose coverage under the IHSS group contract has ended may be eligible for other coverage, including Medi-Cal and Covered California. Temporary, exempt as-needed employees of the City and County of San Francisco

As a temporary employee of the City and County of San Francisco, once you’ve enrolled in the Healthy Workers HMO program, your coverage will continue each benefit period as long as you meet eligibility criteria.
